RAAYClear Tablet is used to treat and prevent asthma, symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder, bronchitis, and complications of pulmonary cystic fibrosis. It helps relax the muscles of the air passages, thereby making it easier to breathe.
RAAYClear Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, headache, and dizziness. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as that may cause excessive drowsiness.
Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. Before you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease. You should also tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.

Treatment and prevention of Asthma
RAAYClear Tablet helps prevent the onset of an asthma attack if it is taken before exercise or exposure to some “triggers.” These “triggers” may include house dust, pollen, pets, and cigarette smoke. This medicine relaxes the muscles of your airways, which makes it easier for air to get in and out. It will, therefore, allow you to exercise more freely without worrying about getting symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and shortness of breath. This enables you to live more freely without worrying so much about things that set off your symptoms.

How to use
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. RAAYClear Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Missed Dose
If you miss a dose of RAAYClear Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
How it works
RAAYClear Tablet is a combination of two medicines: acebrophylline and acetylcysteine. Acebrophylline is a mucolytic and bronchodilator. It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and also thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe. Acetylcysteine is a mucolytic medication. It thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out.

- RAAYClear Tablet should be taken at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food.
- Drink plenty of fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while taking this medication.
- It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Instead, use your rescue inhaler to control sudden breathing difficulties.
- Your doctor may ask you to take regular blood tests to monitor the level of the drug in your body to ensure that you are taking the correct dose.
- Notify your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney, liver, or heart disease or if you have a smoking history. Your dose may need to be adjusted.
- Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
